Prayer for yourself and people on your prayer list…

• O God our Father, your word says “The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.” (Deut. 29:29)
• You have promised us the gift of the Holy Spirit and you have given us your Holy Word
• Let us not be deceived by people who set times and dates for your return; our Lord and Saviour has warned us that many false christs will appear claiming to restore your kingdom. (Matt 24:24)
• As we await your glorious return, may we be found labouring for the souls of men with our “lamps trimmed and burning” with the Holy Spirit
• We thank you, Father, that it is not by might nor by power but by your Spirit that we will be your witnesses to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8)

Spiritual Development

Deception is everywhere and it is often imperceptible. Let us continue to pray for discernment and God’s guidance in all spiritual matters.
