Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait I say on the Lord

Psalm 27:14

Prayer for yourself and people on your prayer list..

• Father in Heaven, Mighty God and King, you see and know everything.
• You are our light and our salvation (Psalm 27:1)
• Our deepest desire and our blessed hope is to dwell in your house and gaze upon your beauty and holiness (Psalm 27:4)
• When everyone forsakes us , you take us up O Lord (Psalm 27:10)
• Teach us your way, O Lord and lead us in a clear path ( Psalm 27:11)
• Guide and protect us, Holy Spirit, so that we will not be given over to the will of the enemy (Psalm 27:12)
• Give us the patience to wait for your deliverance, your guidance and your goodness to be fully revealed.
• While we wait may we be of courage as you strengthen our heart, our hope and trust in you (Psalm 27:14)

Spiritual Development

The fruit of the Spirit is …patience, that is, enduring discomfort without complaint. Let us pray that we ‘bear the fruit’ of the Spirit that is patience.
