Restore us, O God of hosts; let thy face shine, that we may be saved!
Help us, God of our salvation! Help us for the honor of your name. Oh, save us and forgive our sins.
Oft He chastised and still forgave,
Till, by His gracious hand,
The nation He resolved to sa
Let children hear the mighty deeds
which God performed of old,
which in our younger years we saw
and which our fathers told.
