Now plead my cause, Almighty God,
With all the sons of strife
He tells their tears, he counts their groans,
His Son redeems their souls from death;
His Spirit heals their broken bones,
They in his praise employ their breath.
Rejoice, ye righteous, in the Lord,
This work belongs to you;
Sing of his name, his ways, his word,
How holy, just, and true!
Our help, in times of deep distress, is found in God alone
From the first dawning light
Till the dark ev’ning rise,
For thy salvation, Lord, I wait
With ever-longing eyes.
For the kingdom is the Lord’s, and He rules over the nations.
Be exalted, O Lord, in your strength! We will sing and praise your power.
Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God
The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted
As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness
In Your presence is fullness of joy;
In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.
